Do I need any musical experience to participate?

Not at all! We have a group of experienced musicians who are here to help you craft your perfect lullaby.

How do I sign up?

To sign up, please reach out to Claire at lullabypgh@gmail.com, or fill out THIS FORM (Spring 2024) to indicate your interest. Sessions are scheduled on a rolling basis. Please visit our Songwriting Sessions page for the most up to date information.

Can I bring my child(ren) and partner?

Yes! We welcome your family into our song writing sessions and space.

What do I need to bring?

All you need is yourself! And anything that makes you feel comfortable. We will provide snacks, drinks, pencils and paper.

What happens at the end?

Once your sessions are complete, we'll come together for a final celebration concert and you can invite your loved ones. With your musicians, you'll decide whether you'd like a recording for your use.

How can we get involved?

We're always looking for new organizations to work with in Pittsburgh. Please reach out to Claire at lullabypgh@gmail.com giving us some background, describing your location, and a couple words on how your clients, patients, or community would benefit from our project.

What kind of musical experience do I need?

Our musicians come from a variety of backgrounds - classical, singer songwriter, self-taught, etc. The more variety, the better! We provide short training sessions beforehand, but we are looking for people who are proficient on their instrument, flexible in terms of genre, and comfortable writing lyrics, melodies, and harmonic progressions. Collaborative skills are a must.
